Combined spirituality and support role

A young man with a disability, who loves to build authentic connections with others is looking for that right person to help him fill his days. He is looking for someone to help him fill his days, engage with this community and run his business (doing Angel card readings). You might spend your time together walking in the park, going to appointments, exploring local music gigs or doing Angel card readings.

His disability means that he communicates in his own way, often using Angel cards to get his message across. He also needs hands on help with many elements of his day (getting dressed, organising meals etc).  To be the right person for the job you need to be a clear and honest communicator, who takes time to build relationships and is happy to trust in opportunities when they appear. You also need a full drivers licence, but disability experience is not essential.

The role is 10 hours per week, ideally 2 visits of about 5 hours per week during the days or evenings. We are open to working around the days and hours that will suit you best, but a weekend shift would be great.
