Big Sister with a Big Heart

Could you be a big sister to a 17-yr old disabled woman. She is looking for some support during the week. Someone to help her get up, showered and dressed ready for the day and to meet her after school.  She is a fun and easy-going person, who is looking for someone to make her mornings and evenings a joy. You will need to have compassion and be kind and caring. She loves sports like basketball and hockey but singing and dancing are her favs. Her disability means she needs help to remember her routines and what’s next, keeping track of time. A competent person who is responsible and engaging is ideal and loves to laugh. No experience necessary but would be an advantage.

The hours are short so if you live in the Opaheke part of Papakura that would be ideal or very nearby. Mornings are Monday to Friday for just over one hour 6.45 - 7.45/8am.  Evenings are Tuesday to Friday. Tuesdays to Thursdays are 2.45 - 3.45pm and Fridays are 3.30 - 4.30pm. Some extra hours in the school holidays are available to enjoy some days out. There is some flexibility around some of these start and finish times.
