Are you a calm, reliable, and people-focused person who’s looking for a role that actually matters? We’ve got an opportunity where you can use your friendly, proactive nature to support a young man with an intellectual disability as he begins an exciting new stage of life.

He’s recently finished school and is full of curiosity and warmth. He loves being out in the community, meeting new people, and trying new things—from art and dance to personal training. What he needs now is the right person beside him: someone who can help build his independence, encourage him to take on new experiences, and be a trusted support as he grows.

In this role, you’ll be part coach, part cheerleader, part safe pair of hands—helping him make choices, stay connected, and stay safe.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is reliable, responsible, and ready to make a difference

• Can spot opportunities and help bring them to life

• Is friendly, chatty, and good at building positive relationships

• Knows when to step in and when to step back

• Has a full driver’s licence and a reliable car

• Is comfortable providing occasional personal care

The details:

• Days: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday

• Hours: 8:30am – 3:30/4:30pm

• Location: West Auckland
