Are you a proactive and energetic individual with a passion for making a positive impact? Can you see someone’s potential and help them achieve? We're seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented support worker, who is eager to learn and grow in a thoughtful and practical role.

Our daughter loves music, dancing, art, and all sensory activities and she will be curious about you and your interests. She doesn’t use words but can communicate what she wants and is receptive to body language, tone of voice, and facial expressions. The ability to set and hold clear and healthy boundaries are important to keep things running smoothly.

Your background in a special school or in Early Childhood Education (ECE) will be invaluable, as will your understanding of developmental delay, and neurodiversity. Excellent communication skills are a must, as is being self-aware, teachable, and emotionally intelligent. This position is also a great fit for someone with a medical, clinical, or complex care background.

We need someone who is hands-on, caring, physically fit, and doesn't mind getting their hands dirty. Close attention to health and wellbeing outcomes are key components of this role. For the overnight shift, being comfortable with early mornings, including 5.30/6am starts for day preparation, is necessary. Basic cooking skills, and the ability to follow a recipe plan are essential.

Thursday-Saturday – shifts are 1pm-7.30pm, Saturdays are either morning or afternoon, and once a month a sleepover (Sat night). 96 hours per month. For more details please enquire.

This isn't just a job, it's an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in someone's life. You'll be working in a friendly family home environment where the client will greet you with a huge smile and a giggle, and compassion, understanding, and proactive support are highly valued. Your contributions will directly enhance a young girl's daily experiences and well-being.
