Confident, Caring Support Person – Browns Bay

Are you compassionate, adaptable, and confident in supporting young people?
We’re looking for someone reliable to support a 14-year-old girl with a disability before and after school.

She’s a bright, curious teen who loves asking questions, playing games, baking, and trips to the playground. She thrives on structure, clear communication, and someone who believes in her. Your patience, strong boundaries, and ability to keep things consistent will help her feel secure and successful.

What you’ll do:

• Support her mornings (6:30–7:30am) and after school (Thursdays 4:30–6:30pm, Fridays 4:30–6:30pm)
• Provide reassurance, guidance, and positive encouragement
• Join her in fun activities while keeping structure and safety in mind
• Some flexible weekend hours (2–4 hrs) available

What we’re looking for:

• A confident, caring person     with great communication skills
• Able to provide clear     boundaries and stick to routines
• Full driver’s licence and your     own car
• Previous experience supporting     young people (personal or professional) is a bonus

Pay: $35/hour for early morning shifts, $30/hour other times.
This is contract work (you’ll need to invoice).
