Bayswater/North Shore | 2 Nights per Week | Experience with Disability Preferred

We’re looking for a kind, patient person to provide a welcoming “second home” for a bright, cheeky, and affectionate 9-year-old boy with autism and an intellectual disability. His mum needs a couple of nights each week to rest and focus on her health, and he needs a calm, safe place where he can feel supported and have a bit of fun.

He’s into toy cars, scooters, Transformers and good conversation — and he sleeps well most nights! He can be a bit of a handful at times, so experience supporting disabled children is a big plus. You’ll need to be confident with gentle reminders for practical things and enjoy being playful, warm, and reliable.

The role includes

• 🛏️ Hosting him two nights per week at your place (ideally Tuesday + Wednesday)
• 🧡Creating a calm, fun environment and helping with daily routines
• 🏡 Living within 20 minutes of Bayswater (taxi handles school transport — no driving required)

You’ll need:
✅A safe, welcoming home (quiet is ideal)
✅Experience with disability or neurodivergence
✅The ability to build trust and connection with a great little guy
