Part-Time Care Role with Fun, Chatty Guy

3 afternoons a week | $35/hr | 2-hour shifts | Monday, Wednesday & Friday 4-6pm.

Looking for a role that’s more than just a job? A family in Silverdale are looking for someone to support their friendly, funny, and chatty son with a disability, who enjoys a good laugh, a trip down memory lane, and some great conversation.

We’re on the lookout for someone with healthcare or support experience – maybe you're a nurse, student nurse, support worker, or even a supermum (or dad!) with some hands-on care skills.

This is a personal care role with a medical component. You’ll be trained and supported – the home is fully set up with hoists, shower chairs, and all the right gear.

The role includes:  

• Preparing the space and medications.

• Toileting

• Showing, dressing, and undressing.

• Being present, keeping conversation flowing.

• Friendly, talkative, and caring – He thrives on conversation, connection and having a laugh.

• Physically fit.

• A background in nursing, support work, or caregiving or a mum looking for part-time work.

• Someone who enjoys sharing stories and laughing at life’s little moments

• Male or female – all welcome! Young or older – attitude matters more
