Two bright and lovely neurodivergent kids (aged 13 and 15) are looking for someone calm, grounded, and reliable to support them in the mornings before school.
Hours & Pay & Location
- Weekdays, approx. 6:00am - 9:00am (start time can be flexible to 6:30am)
- $30-$40/hour depending on experience and fit
- Occasional evening or weekend backup work available if interested
- Near Silverdale - 8 minutes from the motorway
- You’ll need a full or restricted driver’s license and access to a car
Who You’ll Be Supporting
- 15 yr old young woman has ADHD and needs some prompting to stay on task in the mornings - no physical support needed.
- 13 yr old boy neurodivergent is non-speaking and needs some physical support.
They're both bright and lovely kids who just need someone to help them along in the mornings before school.
️ Your Role
- Help the kids have breakfast, and get ready for school
- Prompting and supervising and assisting their son with his morning routine
- Drive their daughter to the local bus stop (2 mins away)
- Light tidy-up after they leave (not cleaning, just putting things in order)
Who We’re Looking For
This is not a high-energy or overly chatty environment - we're seeking someone who listens well, follows instructions, and is open to guidance and feedback.
- Calm and grounded personality.
- Open to feedback - willing to learn and follow our lead
- Assertive but respectful - someone who can take initiative when needed.
- Responsible, punctual and responsive.
- Experience with neurodivergent kids is a bonus but not required
- Mum and dad will train and guide the right person - they don’t expect you to know it all.
- Senior high school students (16+), teacher aides, psychology or education students
- People studying or working in social work, sports science, or support roles
- Open-minded, energetic people who are calm under pressure and eager to help.
Mum and Dad are at home during this time - you’ll never be working alone.
