Spiritual & Community Support Worker

10–20hours per week | Mt Roskill | Weekdays 10–3pm (flexible)

Ayoung man with a disability is looking for the right person to support him with practical tasks at home and to explore the community he loves. He communicates in his own unique way — often through Angel/Oracle cards — and building a genuine relationship with him is at the heart of this role.

The role includes:

·       Helping with everyday routines and practical tasks around the home

·       Going out together — walks in the park, local music gigs, visiting favourite places, and community activities

·       Supporting appointments and outings in a calm, confident way

·       Building a trusting relationship and understanding his communication style

·       Being present, grounded and open to moments of connection

·       A full driver licence is essential

About You

You’re someone who values patience, intuition and kindness. You take time to understand people and you’re happy to follow their lead and interests.

You may be a great fit if you are:

·       A clear, gentle communicator

·       Calm and confident when things get tricky

·       Open to spirituality, Angel/Oracle cards and personal reflection

·       Warm reliable and relationship-focused

·       Experience in disability support would be advantageous

Hours

·       10–20hours per week

·       Mainly between 10am–3pm on weekdays, but we’re flexible

·       Role is in-person in Mt Roskill

·       A weekend shift now and then would be helpful, but not essential
