Morning Support Wanted – Pukekohe / Pukekohe East

Are you a kind, chatty person with a good sense of humour and an hour free in the mornings? We are looking for a support person to help a man with a long-term health condition start his weekdays comfortably and confidently.

He is a wheelchair user and can transfer independently to the bed, sofa, and bathroom. Mornings just take a bit longer, especially in the bathroom, and needs support with showering and moisturising, particularly feet, to keep his skin healthy and prevent infections.

What the role involves:

• Morning support with showering and getting ready

• Help with moisturising (main task)

• Friendly conversation to start the day on a positive note

• Occasional help with laundry folded and put away.  

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 9:00am (approx. 1 hour)

Pay: $35 per hour.

Who we are looking for:

• Someone local to Pukekohe / Pukekohe East  

• Good spoken English required for clear communication

• Kind, reliable, and happy to have a laugh

• No experience needed – He’s happy to teach the right person

This role would suit someone studying, returning to work, or looking for meaningful part-time hours close to home.
