Looking for a job that’s meaningful and fun? This is your chance to spend a few hours each week making a real difference while keeping things playful, social, and creative.

A 22-year-old autistic woman in Hobsonville is looking for someone to come alongside her as she builds independence and confidence. She’s funny, smart, into all things PokΓ©mon, and has a friendly little dog who’ll happily join the team. As a member of the rainbow community, it’s important her mentor is a strong ally (or part of the rainbow fam too 🌈).

What the role is about:

  • Helping her try new things and grow her independence
  • Cooking simple meals and learning life skills together 🍳
  • Exploring community activities and building social confidence 🌟
  • Finding volunteer opportunities or fun projects to get involved in
  • Sharing laughs, encouragement, and meaningful days 🐢

The details:

  • About 5 hours a week, split over two visits (2–3 hours each)
  • Ideally weekdays, but our schedule is pretty flexible

This job is about being a supportive peer who is patient, compassionate, and motivating. Someone who can take the lead when needed, but also go slow and steady when things feel overwhelming.
