Walk alongside him - a few hours each weekday

A young man who has recently left school is looking for someone reliable to join him for a couple of hours during the week.

He has a very familiar routine that he enjoys: walking to the local park, spending time on the swings and playing with water, having lunch, and walking home again.

We're looking for someone who is comfortable being a steady presence alongside him, a bit like a big brother. Someone who can walk with him, keep an eye on things, offer encouragement when needed and help him have agood time.

You don't need to be constantly talking or entertaining him. Being calm, confident and comfortable with a simple routine is much more important. Supporting him with communication, as that is not his strength

You also need to be physically capable of doing the walk, as he may lean on you for some support. We're looking for someone reliable who will enjoy getting to know him and can commit to being part of his routine overtime. Ideally it would be about 2 hours each weekday somewhere near lunchtime. But the schedule can be flexible to suit your commitments.

Reliability and connection is key in this role. Disability experience would be nice, but not essential.
