Do you connect well with young people?

We're looking for a warm, patient support person for a 14-year-old in Milford.

About her She is funny, caring, and striving for independence. She loves building genuine relationships and being around people who are warm, respectful, and engaged. She has an autism profile (PDA), which means she thrives when communication is collaborative and low-demand — think offering choices rather than giving instructions. She needs full support with personal cares (including showering and continence support), so experience and confidence in this area is important.

The shifts (one person or two):

• Mornings — Mon–Fri, 6:30–8:30am
• Afternoons — Mon–Fri, 3:00–6:30pm
• Additional weekend and school     holiday work may also be available

What we're looking for

• Experience in disability, personal care, or a closely related field
• Someone who naturally communicates with respect and patience
• Comfortable with full personal cares (showering, continence support)
• Familiarity with autism, and ideally PDA profiles, is a bonus
