Love Keeping a Home Running Smoothly? We Need You

1.5–2 hours, once a week | $28/hr | Casual and flexible

We're looking for someone reliable and switched-onto help keep a home clean, organised, and running smoothly for a chatty, warm woman with a visual impairment in the Māngere Bridge area. It's not a big time commitment – just one shift a week – which makes it a great top up if you've already got study, another job, or other support work on the go. We're after someone who'll stick around and do it properly.

What you'll be helping with:

• Cleaning throughout the home – vacuuming, mopping, dusting, bathrooms, kitchen, the lot
• Laundry and ironing, including changing bed linen and towels
• Simple meal prep and cooking support, plus tidying up afterwards
• Grocery shopping and errands – driving involved, mileage paid
• General tidying and organising, so everything has an easy-to-find place
• The odd extra hand – mail and paperwork, rubbish and recycling, keeping things safe and clutter-free, and some personal care support depending on the day

About you:

You take real pride in a tidy home, you’re dependable, and you’re looking for something long-term rather than a stop gap. You don’t need experience – just a good work ethic and a practical, can-do approach. A full driver’s licence is essential, and living close to Māngere Bridge is a bonus.

Hours & flexibility:

• One shift a week, 1.5–2 hours
• Weekday afternoons, ideally towards the end of the week
• Exact day and time negotiable for the right person
