Looking for a casual role that's more about sharing enjoyable evenings than providing hands-on care?
We're looking for someone warm, patient, and easy-going to support a woman in her 30s who lives in Papakura. The role is all about helping her get out into the community to enjoy the hobbies and activities she loves.
She enjoys a wide range of interests, including arcades, board game meetups, stargazing, crafts, and walks. She's looking for someone who shares a few of her interests and enjoys good company. The role is about building trust, sharing enjoyable evenings, and supporting her to get out and do more of the things she loves.
She's autistic and naturally quite quiet, so this role is ideal for someone who doesn't feel the need to fill every silence. If you're comfortable with a calm, low-pressure atmosphere and enjoy letting conversations happen naturally, you'll be a great fit.
This is a casual, flexible role, with just a few evening hours most weeks. Shifts can usually be arranged at times that suit you both, and despite the evening outings, you'll still be home at a sensible hour.
This is a companionship role only. There is no personal care involved. She doesn't drive, so you'll need a full driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle to get to and from activities.
We're looking for someone who is:

- Holds a full, clean driver's licence and has access to a reliable car
No previous disability experience is needed—we're much more interested in finding someone with the right personality.
Hours: Casual, flexible evening shifts (a few hours most weeks)
Pay: $26–$30 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement
